Présentation
Philippe Fontaine est professeur des universités à l’École normale supérieure Paris-Saclay.
Il est membre honoraire senior de l’Institut universitaire de France et Research Associate au Centre for Philosophy of Natural and Social Science à la London School of Economics and Political Science, où il a été titulaire de la chaire de recherche du Department of Philosophy, Logic and Scientific Method (Ludwig Lachmann Research Fellowship) entre 2003 et 2005.
Il a été Visiting Scholar à Harvard University en 1995 et en 1996. Agrégé de l’enseignement supérieur en science économique (1994), il a reçu le Best Article Award of the History of Economics Society en 2003, le Best Article Award of the Forum for the History of Human Science en 2005 et le Prix d’excellence en sciences sociales (domaine «sciences économiques») de la Fondation Mattei Dogan/CNRS en 2008.
Il a reçu une Fulbright Senior Researcher Fellowship en 2000.
